Meet The Doctor

Dr. Michael Stratton was born and raised in Bartow, Florida and graduated from Bartow High School in 1995. Dr. Stratton attended Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN where he received a football scholarship and earned a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Michael Stratton the attended Sherman College of Chiropractic where he earned is Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2005. Dr. Stratton returned to Polk County and now lives in Lakeland with his wife Camille and their four children.

Dr. Michael Stratton opened Lakeland's Health & Family Chiropractic with the belief he could, through specific chiropractic care, nutrition and education, improve the lives of thousands of his neighbors. Dr. Stratton believes the human body is amazing and we are designed to be healthy, vibrant, and full of energy. We should have the ability to work, play and enjoy our lives, as well as, serve each other. Poor health, the lack of proper function and illness should be rare.

Dr. Stratton was introduced to chiropractic care at the age of 14 years old when his mother took him to see her chiropractor. Through his mother's need for corrective chiropractic care to treat scoliosis and improve her health he has learned the value of health & wellness.

Dr. Stratton became inspired to help families improve their health and understanding of wellness after the birth of his son in 2007. Dr. Stratton dedicated himself to learning family wellness care, nutrition response testing, Webster Protocol for improved adjusting of his pregnant patients, as well as patient education. Dr. Stratton is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the Florida Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Society and the FSCO.

Dr. Stratton has spread the message of wellness through chiropractic by giving community education lectures for business chamber groups, local businesses to help improve workplace health, woman's community groups, family planning and foster care companies as well as local church events. Through his lecturing and education Dr. Stratton hopes to inspire a change in his communities' health and wellness.

Dr. Michael Stratton does several fundraising events a year to raise money for groups which include American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, local Rotary clubs and gift fundraising at Christmas time for local foster children.
